We Did Honor Them Of Course

I am referring to my Dad, my Dad-in-law and my Husband, on Father's Day.

We did not go out on the day itself and only did few days after. It's funny though that i was the one asked as to where i would want us to have Dinner. Well, i picked out from among our regular drinkery with food and my choice was the Original Roadhouse Grill.

All the same, on that special Sunday in June, i prepared a new concoction of mine where i use McCormick Roasted Garlic & Rosemary Potato Steamer. As the name suggests, this seasoning is supposed to be for Potatoes but i have been using it for Chicken and has been working fine for me. As a matter of fact my Husband likes it a lot and our Little One enjoys it as much, even calling it " Chicken Dobo. "

Anyhow, i served this with my Special Asparagus dish which really made my Other Half's day.

It was a quiet yet meaningful commemoration of a significant day. Every Father in my Family's life was remembered and honored and will always be, unceasingly.

Art 101 - Toddler Level

Time to tickle our Precious One's artistic bones a little.

No, we are not enrolling him in an Art Class. Instead, moi is the designated Teacher.

It goes without saying that aside from the need to present interesting artful activities to him, i ought to have an ample stock of materials and resources.

Therefore, the Mommy went to market. We already have the basic supplies like the Easel here thus, i just got a few more from the so-called Crayola Aisle.

I am optimistic that these aesthetic pursuit will somehow engage the attention of our Child whose evident enthusiasm is on books and reading. Not that i do not want that partiality but i would also want his creative genes to come out.

A second trip for three more items would have to be made later since these ones were not available earlier.

I have read very good reviews about the Crayola Twistables Slick Stix Crayons and i want our Son to try them. On the other hand, the Daddy is excited to have a crack at the Outdoor Crayola 3-D Chalk.

It Recurred

Yes, it did!

A power failure presented itself once more in our community and again, it came about when the temperature was markedly high.

My Husband and i just returned from our Patio after spending sometime by the pool when suddenly the juice went bye-bye. Cripes! it became awfully hotter.

Well, since i was not in any way wet, i simply stayed in my swimsuit while waiting for the current to come back.

However, fifteen minutes of sweating is all we could take. I was already fretting because of our Little One. It's too hot for him, his nap was cut short and he does not have anything to eat for his evening meal. I have nowhere to cook. We were caught off guard.

After finding out that the Pizza place closest to us shut down due to the same problem, we ended up at a Mexican restaurant few minutes drive away.

Although ordinarily it would not be a prime choice of ours, the food and the service were not bad at all. Except for their Salsa. It is nothing compared to my Other Half's own.

Take a look at this.

Tasty!

A/N : Someone asked if i went out with nothing but a swimwear on. " My word! no, i did not. " Before we left the house i slipped into my wrap which is similar to this.
